Golf Courses

The Coast

Situated along the rugged Southern Sydney coastline, the Coast Golf Course is open to the elements and can play differently from one hour to the next. It promises to be a challenge for all levels of players, and the Coast Golf Course never lets you down. It suits players of all skill levels, or even just the golfers who like to play on one of the most beautiful scenic courses in Sydney.

The Coast Golf Club and course is situated approximately 12 km south of the CBD along Anzac Parade, and 8 km east of the airport. The course is a par 70 oceanfront links that surrounds Little Bay, Sydney’s southernmost City Beach. Uniquely there are ocean views from every hole.
Wind strength and direction are a major factor in the nature of the golf course. Stretching along the coastal cliffs, the course is greatly affected by the breeze prevailing on the day of play.

Macquarie Links

Gently rolling hills, native Australian bushland and a links-style golf course set around a contemporary clubhouse form the character that is Macquarie Links International Golf Club. The par-72 championship golf course laid carefully across the rolling hills showcases the unique Australian grasslands and stands of mature gum trees found throughout.

The course is a combination of links style golf with a heathland or “bush” character. Native grasslands, stands of mature gum trees and unique “outback” site furniture provide strong Australian character. Creeks, lakes and subtle topographic formations all combine to create natural golf holes that ebb and flow with the natural lie of the land.

Macquarie Links is a Par 72 course measuring some 6,300 metres in length, but not overly long by modern standards – the course is a challenge to shot making but not a torturous test of length. Multiple tees give golfers of all standards the ability to enjoy their game with an appropriate level of challenge.

Riverside Oaks

Riverside Oaks, a stunning setting and course layout across 587 acres of unspoilt natural bushland. It borders the Hawkesbury River and wildlife reserve with a reputation for quality that attracts golfers and visitors across Australia and around the world.

The 18 hole par 72 championship course is 6,311 metres long and is rated amongst the top resort courses in Australia. Immaculate presentation, expansive greens and world class facilities provides one of Sydney’s finest resort courses.

The course layout is designed for golfers of all standards offering a challenging, rewarding game in a superb natural surround. Riverside Oaks has hosted many charity events and tournaments including The Australian TPC, The Australian PGA Championship, for three successive years and The NSW PGA Championships for two years.

An amazing a la carte restaurant has now opened called Bungool, which serves contemporary Australian cuisine. Open Thursday to Sunday – bookings essential.

Twin Creeks

The 18 hole, par 72 championship private golf course of Twin Creeks has been designed to excite and challenge all levels of golfers whilst providing a stimulating environment in which to play. Against the stunning backdrop of existing woodland, meticulously planned landscaping provides a combination of manicured tees, greens and fairways and introduced native grasses for contrast. Lakes, ponds and wetlands will also complement the existing woodland.

In designing the course, Graham Marsh has called on his 30 years experience as a professional golfer (with more than 60 international victories) and his remarkable achievement of designing over 30 golf courses around the world.

This course will prove to be a true test of golf with ample opportunities for shotmaking, while providing an ongoing source of pleasure for Members and their guests.

Construction of the course commenced in October 2003 and is expected to be ready to play around the middle of 2005 (depending on climatic conditions). Twin Creeks is destined to be another icon in the already highly acclaimed gallery of Graham Marsh designed courses.
